course, your Instructor takes you through all

the basics of learning how to scuba dive. You will begin in our indoor, custom built, heated pool and progress to the open water (ocean, lake, quarry, etc.). Earning your Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure, and unfathomable tranquility await you. As you begin your adventure and gain experience through continuing education, your opportunities are truly endless.

 

 The PADI Open Water Diver course is completed in 3 easy steps

Step 1: Knowledge Development with eLearning                                                                COST $259   

The knowledge development portion of the course is designed so you can learn at your own pace and when it's convenient for you in the comfort of your own home. Once you have completed the program you are now ready for Step 2

 

Step 2: Pool Training                                                                                                                    COST $345 

Develop and practice scuba skills in the pool under direct instructor supervision. As you learn new skills, you’ll build the abilities and confidence needed for diving in open water, such as in a lake or the ocean. Pool training includes your pool instruction and use of tanks, buoyancy control device, regulators and dive computer. Pool training is held 3 consecutive Sundays from 1pm-5pm or over one weekend. Now you are ready for step 3

Step 3: Open Water Dive                                                                                                             COST $450 

Get ready to experience everything you've learned with the freedom of open water. To complete your certification, you will be required to perform the skills you’ve mastered in the pool in the Open Water environment (ocean, lake, quarry) through 4 Open Water Dives. The London Scuba Centre schedules Open Water weekends throughout the dive season, visiting some of our favorite dive destinations. The Open Water Dive includes all your gear rental for the weekend plus an extra tank, dive computer, logbook, Open Water Certificate e-card and instruction on 4 dives in one weekend.

Referral option for step 3

If your plans are to finish your open water dives down south on your vacation, we do offer a global referral and will help guide you through the referral process.

Private Course Option for Pool Training                                                               COST $120 (per hour) 

This is a great option for someone looking for a flexible schedule or more personalized pool training. Pool training includes one on one pool instruction and use of tanks, buoyancy control device, regulators and dive computer.
